Forgot the best news of all:

No mouth cancer.

Just effed up gums and acidy spit, and extravagant vacations for my dentist on my tab.

Now, about that lump up near my left armpit...that'll need a closer look.

Twice-weekly ultrasound treatments and deep tissues massages, that my ass has to pay for. Not to mention the countless cabs I've had to take because my ankle just didn't want to walk any further, and the bitchy way it made me demand seats on the T when I could have stood the whole way, and everything fucking else that my ankle has made me become.

I had the Yes version of this song in my head all morning. I had no idea that Ms. Hoffs and Mr. Sweet (two of my all time favorites) had covered it. This is totally making my whole damn day.  Enjoy!

I went back to the oral surgeon again today for yet another biopsy (they had the good fortune of losing my last biopsy so the results never got reported).

The good news is that nothing has changed since my last biopsy, thereby essentially ruling out mouth cancer.

My driver's license expired on my birthday this past year - I plum forgot. In all honesty, I use my ID so little that it's easy to forget. I don't get carded and I don't get speeding tickets, so it's easy to let the renewal date slip through the cracks ( Read more... )

The weekend!

Fance, Rude, and I woke up at the crack of ass on Friday to wing down to Louisville, KY for the Drool/Gal wedding. We had all decided that renting a car for the weekend was a fruitless endeavor, because for the amount we would be driving, it was simply not cost effective.
