It's so much easier to write when you're drunk or sleep deprived. It quiets the internal censor that won't let you put a word down on paper until you have your whole story beautifully composed and revised in your head. Last Saturday I came down with a bad sinus infection which left me sleeping 15+ hours a day Sunday through Tuesday. I missed the SCA meetings on both Monday and Wednesday nights. So if anyone's wondering why they haven't heard from me in awhile, that's why. I may or may not be more social this weekend, depending on how much energy I end up

I'm about to become a foster parent for a kitty for a month. Someone abandoned a house cat near Tara's place. Tara had found some people to take her, but then the cat had a faintly positive test for feline leukemia. :( So she needed to find someone who didn't already have cats to keep the cat for four weeks until she can get retested.
