I'm really in a shitty mood today.  It's not the right time of the month to blame it on hormones.  I don't really mind the weather.  I get to work out tonight with my friends.

I'm just...meh.  And I really want to have a tantrum about it. 

You know how I know this?  One of my friends just had this FB status:  Just talked to John Tesh about Charlie Sheen.  How did I become the go-to psychologist for drug-usingHollywood stars?? (This is on top of being quoted extensively in a USA Today article about good old Charlie.)

I love my friends. 

My heart is light. Yes, I've had some irritation, some rage, some sadness in the last few weeks, but overall I'm just HAPPY.  The sunshine today just amped up the happy a notch and then the bead store with my girlfriends capped it off with some awesomeness and giggles (OK, it cost me $150, but still well worth it ( Read more... )

Sorry, I've been down that path and though I learned a LOT being Catholic, it's not my shtick now.  It makes my sister happy and that's great, but I love my religion just like it is.

My life does NOT suck.  I feel good.  My kids are good.  The Geek is good.  My job is good.  The sun was shining today and I got in a Zumba class.  This makes my life full of WIN.

Does anyone out there have any materials relating to ritual animal abuse?  One of my friends has been asked to teach a class on ritualistic animal abuse to a law enforcement group in Texas (yes, klaxons went off in my head, too) and she's asked me to provide her with information on how "true" pagans use animals in ritual.
