Both flights out of the U.S. were delayed. The first by 2 hours and 10 minutes, the second by an hour and 10 minutes. Glad the second one was delayed. Due to my late arrival because of the first flight, had the second flight not been delayed, I'd have missed it.

Okay, so we escorted The Wall That Heals, the traveling Vietnam Wall memorial, to Taylor today. It was a long but fun day.

This is when we met before going up to Temple to meet the truck carrying the wall. The police were there to make sure we could get out of the parking lot together. The grocery store, HEB, fed us and made sure we had drinks.

Jordan, the little girl I have mentioned in recent posts who has been battling cancer...is in complete remission. How awesome is that? I am so happy for the entire family. This was certainly welcome news today.

I had a busy but very productive weekend. On Saturday, I went with my younger brother Blade down to San Antonio to visit the parents. He had to go down to do some stuff on dad’s computer. I don’t know why, but I’m always amazed each year at about this time at how many birds there are still out here flying around. I mean, it’s been cold, yet they are still here. In the morning, I walk outside and am greeted by their singing. It’s really fascinating to me. How do they manage to survive? We have had a number of freezing days here.
