I just made an entry about friends a few days ago. I just lost a friend.

My friend Michelle Davis passed away at about 5:30 PM on July 20, 2010. She died in peace in the arms of her husband, my friend John Davis. This is devastating news. I'm so saddened by this. She was very kind, gentle, and giving. The world could use more people like her, not ( Read more... )

I have not done a good job at keeping up with LJ. I’ve basically gotten lazy, really. I’ve been using FB more, and as a result have not been writing as I really should. 1) Ronnie Milsap. I met Ronnie in 1984 while I worked at a bank. His tour bus pulled up late in the afternoon, just before closing time. His road manager came in asking to cash a check. Day 1: San Antonio to Chicago to Frankfurt
Flight delayed…TWICE!

One hour delay to board plane.

One more hour sitting in the plane on the tarmac.

Arrival time in Chicago pushed back to 7:10.

Making the connection seemed unlikely.

Finally landed, supposed to go to Gate H16.

Last minute gate change to H10.
