Well, the good news is the Boy Wonder has landed himself a job, and it's not a minimum-wage fry-cook-at-a-local-burger-joint one. Starting tomorrow, he'll be working in the deli at the local Kroger's for about $7.72 and hour. That may sound low, but for WV it's not bad. For those of you who don't know me, I wear a silver pentagram on a short silver chain around my neck. It was a dear present given to me way back in the 80's by a girl who taught me much. In a way, she was like my first teacher. I treasure it, and I never take it off.

Anyone know what's wrong with LJ these days? Every time I log on, whether it's on my PC or my roommates or the one I use at work it's the same thing . . . no backgrounds, nothing but black and white lists plus the words and links to click on. It looks horrible -- like there was some massive "http error".

So I notice the tiny tracker on my login screen says I haven't updated in five weeks. It's not that nothing exciting has happened in my life, but honestly . . . well . . . nothing exciting has happened in my life. Nothing worth sharing, anyhow.
