After I have learned to spell the sound of a scream, I may start posting more often here.

We have some old furniture that we just attempted to donate to the Good Will and the Salvation Army, and they both refused it, so now I get to figure out how to unload old furniture that no one wants.

We went last Friday evening to see Lion King. We bought the tickets six months ago. It was the broadway production on tour. I was really impressed with the props of the animals, the way the actors were the animals but yet behind the animals. This is a mystery. I have observed that many strong empaths had an unhappy childhood, or were abused in their childhood.  I have wondered what might behind that.  Does an abusesive childhood do something to whit the edge of the empath's gift, or does the personality of the child who is an empath predispose him to abuse because he is different from most children, or ( Read more... )

I was thinking about my nephew, my brother's son, who may be sensitive like me, who has puzzled his mother, who has spoken of him to me because when the nephew was an infant, I had a way of comforting him, that they didn't have. I cry far too easily to suit me. When most folks see or hear something that they like, or that touches them, they get excited, or smile, or openly express it some way. Not me. My lack of organization has been biting me a lot recently. And telling myself that organization is not one the attributes of my personality is poor insurance against that bite. I'm going to be forced to come up with some kind of viable and efficient work around. Skipping over the problem only makes the next bite all the more painful.`
