For all you writers out there:

Do you think it is more difficult to write in the perspective or voice of the opposite sex? Some writers seem to do it quite fluidly, (e.g., Jeffrey Eugenides in The Marriage Plot).

Do you think it's a skill honed from observation? sensitivity? knowing the opposite sex intimately? or imagination?

I am usually extremely impatient. But there are a few things I would wait for, such as: my favorite vietnamese restaurant.

What would you wait in line for?,

What is the worst crime someone can commit?

What is something that is common sense to you but may not be to someone else?

For example, it should be common sense never to ask a woman's weight or age, but it happens to me more often than I'd like.

What is your dream wedding proposal?
Do you have any good proposal stories you want to share?

Yesterday, Amanda Knox's murder conviction was overturned in an Italian Appeals Court....

I spent about an hour reading the Wikipedia page about the trial, which is crazy, to say the least. She was convicted based on a homeless heroin addict's testimony, among other baseless theories, such as she was performing a satanic ritual. (Seriously, people ( Read more... )
