Our country is in a state of deathly partisanship. When, for example, you can't get 30 Republicans to sign onto an anti-rape bill, for seemingly no other reason than that the bill was brought by a Democrat, you've got problems. Yesterday, I had to fight the urge to dognap a 3-legged beagle. My friend Laura and I were driving back from the Serpent Mound through Adams County.
