(Xander/Cordelia Series) Drabble:
"I can't believe you Xander Harris. You and your stupid, smelly little gang can go and........." Before Cordelia could even finish he insult, Xander cut in with a kiss. "Shut up Cordelia."
"Don't tell me to shut up!" Cordelia exclaimed and Xander just smirked and kissed her back in response. When Xander felt that Cordelia had calmed down enough, he pulled back and asked, “Now how about that movie?”
Cordelia sighed in response, “Fine, but I still don’t understand why everyone else has to come along. Why can’t you and I just go see this by ourselves? I mean it’s not like we are actually going to be watching the movie.”
“You know why, Oz has band practice, which leaves Willow alone; and Buffy, well that whole Angel is evil thing still has her down.” Xander explained.
“So, can’t they go somewhere else and be less lame?” Cordelia asked.
Xander just laughed, used to her behavior and typical response. “No, Cordy they can’t. Besides just consider this your volunteer service for the week,” bargained Xander.
“Yeah I guess I can do that.” Cordelia nodded in acquiescence. Xander sighed in relief that he was able to come up with a compromise.
