I mean, really...  A snake?  I just think of grabbing a porcupine to defend yourself or a wolverine maybe.  How about a badger?  My sister used to throw dead fish at me on the beach of Lake Michigan when we were little.  That would have been deterrent enough for me if I was the cop.  Aren't drunk people great?
