Syd Barrett is dead. Long live Syd Barrett!

Last night Eric and I were watching the news and caught two stories. The body of a 6 year old who died in 70's disappeared from his grave. ZOMBIE! (Or maybe a cult.) Also, a bag of prosthetic limbs fell onto the road somewhere.

Oh, and I liked both Pirates Of The Caribbean II and Superman Returns.

An issue which environmentalists, greens, progressives, etc.  find important is the impact of modern agriculture.  Today's  agribusiness pollutes, abuses animals, and produces food full of hormones and pesticides.  This is contrasted with the practices of  sustainable agriculture and organic farming, mostly practiced by small farmers.   How does ( Read more... )

This is National Bike Month.  Today is National Bike To Work Day.  I'll be doing just that in a few hours.
