I've been thinking a lot about sleep lately. My occupational therapist wants me to stop sleeping during the day time and just rest, which seems to be the general consensus for anyone suffering from CFS/ME. Most Friday nights I spend vegging in front of the computer or TV, the latter with my knitting in my hands. Today I got a cane. It's a metal collapsible one, so hypothetically I can carry it in my purse - although at the setting it's at for height, one section is longer than the others and so it doesn't fit. I had the best day today. It being a bank holiday, everyone had the day off work and things, so Adrian and I arranged to meet up with his old friend Neil and Neil's girlfriend Nicola. Today is a hot cider day. I hoarde my hot cider packets carefully, since they only come from the States. I used two boxes over the winter, and have two left, give or take a few packets.
