work ethic
I've decided that the best way to get through life with the least work is to be a smoker and a coffee drinker. Every day, without fail that I drive to one of my jobs I see this group of 10-15 people hanging out on the street smoking. Not much going on with me. My grandparents computer has stopped working, and as the most technical person in the family it tends to fall to me to fix stuff. It turns out it is most likely the video card, which is an onboard video card. I'll need to either get a new video card or try to find one of my old ones that still might work. Dish drama
Last evening I got home and Andrew and Dani were downstairs getting the grill going for some steak. I went upstairs and started working on the litter boxes. I wasn't finished by the time the steak was, so as I finished up the steak rested. Now is the part I'm angry about. Cable tv
It's happening. Tomorrow. I made a tough decision in January 2002 to cut the cable. Turn it off completely. And I've lived for five and a half years without cable. No cable, no satellite, nothing. Just DSL for the internet. But then I got a roommate who got a job at comcast and so we're getting free cable tv installed tomorrow. I'm worried that I' ( Read more... ) -
The Raccoon Rescue
Our garbage is picked up every Thursday morning. We have 2 big dumpsters. On Friday afternoon, after work and after a quick shopping trip and dinner with Dani, I dropped a 24 pack of pop trying to balance that, a 36 pack and a large broom in my hands. 2 of the cans exploded.
