There and Back Again
Went to Rochester. Jammed with all the right people. Did all of the grandfather-related stuff.
While I was up there I got a note from Capital One. Yes, the "what's in your wallet?" people. Started the process there. But its going to take a while to get through, I think. And I haven't heard from IBM in a bit. All this is combined with the ( Read more... ) -
Jobs and stuff
Had my first interview today with a staffing company. It was supposed to be at 9:30. I finally sat down with someone at 9:50. By 9:55 I had not only left the interview, but left the building and was Grand Central bound. It was that much of a waste of not only my time, but my money for the train. Looks like there's gonna be another excursion to Rochester for me. Apparently a 'clan meeting' has been called, and everyone except my aunt in Alaska is going to be there.
