Gotham & The Flash
As is often the case, The Flash looked really fun from the trailer and turned out to be... not so much, and Gotham's trailer was a snooze-fest, while the pilot was really entertaining.

Bandom and I broke up pretty hard, but maybe we're gonna have another tiny fling
So, even though I fell out of MCR fandom pretty badly about four years ago (it wasn't you, MCR, it was me), today I bought tickets to go and see Frank (except he now spells it frnk) Iero's new, possibly terrible, band at the Water Rats in November. Today as I was leaving work I noticed I had a large lump in the lining of my dress. Upon further investigation it turned out to be a pair of pants (!) which must have got into the lining last time I washed the dress, and which I'd been wearing on my shoulder all day like a parrot. Good Man Friday: 12th in the Benjamin January series by Barbara Hambly, and which finds Ben (plus his half-sister, his niece, his half-sister's lover and his half-sister's lover's wife) in Washington DC investigating a disappearance. Worldcon
I can't believe it took me to the age of mumblety to go to my first con! The short version: I had a great time even though I only went for a day, and it made me really want to go to Nine Worlds next year.
