I suppose at this age I shouldn't be surprised when no one is available to share a day off with me. And I'll probably get several calls on Friday and/or Saturday night asking what I'm up to, though everyone knows I work weekends.

Anyone want to come over and try some homemade ice cream sandwiches with mojitos? Haha

Well you could definitely find a worse place than Seattle. There are only a few cities growing more quickly than we are, and if you can't find something here, Portland has plenty of jobs also. But I would recommend you live with a couple friends because the rent is too damn high!

Can't say that I've ever heard of a homemade ice cream sandwich. What do you use for the sandwich material on either side of the ice cream?

Homemade cookies...haha. It was my way of saying I made the ice cream and cookies myself. It was my first batch of ice cream using my new machine and the only problem (other than not adding enough mint extract to the chocolate chip mint mixture) is that I made way too much for one or even two people.

I have those same thoughts nowadays too. I often post on FB asking people to come over cause I made too much cake.. :/
