I'm trying to make a scanner work and it needs a driver, but my CD drive is busted so I sent myself the driver via another computer and stuck it in My Documents. And now I can't get the bloody thing to work. I've tried via Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager but it doesn't seem to recognise the existence of the driver. Jake's mother found some website saying rent to live in London is close to 1000 pounds a month, can anyone confirm or deny this? I don't believe it but I don't have any concrete evidence against it.

Jake and I had a big talk last night and I won't be emigrating to America. We're still going to be friends but I'm going to sleep when I need to, go out when I want to, and generally be my own person. I do still love her and I think always will. She's handling it well, upset but understanding and I'm very impressed with her.
