I am making great progess with my band: "the invisible band". the rest of the band is really happy with my drumming which in turn gives me a shit load of confidence for MI in the fall. 32 people murdered, slain, there life taken away without hesitation or reason. When I heard the news of the Virgina Tech massacre I was truly shocked and horrifed. I was blessed with another beautiful day, I have a B in english and considering i am barely working in that class, I am pretty happy. A pretty fantastic day, first I did some more investigating into MI and it might not be(still crossing my fingers cuz i am not sure) as difficult as I thought to get accepted, I am still going to prepare as if it was but I still hope. As Spring break comes to a close I reflect, and I believe I am grown considerbaly in just this one week. I already have grown so much from the beginning of the July until last week, and I was afraid I hit a wall. But alas, lessons were learned, experiences were forged, and memories have been made and I have become a better more complete man.

I accomplished one of my small goals yesterday night, by driving up to Palmdale to tryout for a band. It went really well, the other members of the band really liked what I brought to the group. If I stick with them they will probably accept me. I am going to work really hard this week to narrow down some beats, fills, and rolls for their songs. ( Read more... )

It's amazing how I look back to as early as mere weeks ago and see how foolish and lame I was acting like. As previously stated, I haven't been single since high school and I definitely acted like it. It's just amusing now that is all, but it was a learning experience, practice as it were. I really want to join this band in P-dizzle, they sound lke Coldplay, Radiohead, and U2, that is a good combo for me. I really hope they will like what I bring to the table.
