I've been wrestling with this translation all week. Time to call for back-up.

相传为上古真武神得道飞升之地，有“非真武不足以当之”的说法，故名武当山.

It's tricky for me to come up with something that not only accurately translates the quote but that also makes sense for the name of the mountain when the two characters are extracted.

Is there a good colloquial equivalent to "itty bitty" or "teeny tiny" or something else that has kind of the connotation of being not only small, but maybe kind of cute? Sign translation
