I came home from hospital last night. My surgery was a total failure. Apparently I am far too damaged for him to do anything. I was told that all my organs are stuck together and stuck fast to the veil of skin that protects your organs and the small pad of fat that protects your bowels. I am going into hospital on Friday for more surgery. This will be my ninth. I thought it was my 8th but I have been assured by my pre-med assessment Dr that this will indeed be number 9. Its a sad state of affairs when you forget how many ops you have had ( Read more... )

Well hello! Wow, I haven't posted for a long time. But I felt compelled to post this. I am a cat lover, and I belong to several cat communities on LJ and other places. Yesterday there appeared a video of a teenager terrorising, beating and abusing a cat. From the looks of it the cat was his family pet and the abuse took place in the boy's home. ( Read more... )

I went out last night, with people! Saw people, was sociable, drank booze! ..... and I am going out again tonight! Ha! I almost have a social life! Thanks to those that make sure I got there and back OK and looked after the shaking, shuffling, limping goth bird that is me!
