What is everyone doing today?  Is anyone planning to march, and, if so, what specific cause?

Here in Seattle, there is a march and rally for immigrants rights, which has brought out the Latino population in recent years, but I get a sense that people are not going to come out and march like they did in previous years.

I sometimes correspond via snail mail with a friend who doesn't speak English fluently. My Spanish writing skills are very weak. I saw this video at a CASA meeting today and thought I should share it. From what I found online the doc should be out sometime this fall.

I think this was a cool article.So some immigrants got busted during a raid on a textile factory. A rich guy in Boston bailed them out, allowing them to go through the legal system in a chance to work things out (and at least sort things out with their families while things are decided.) So, for my linguistics final, I am doing a study on spanglish and how much people are able to interpret based on the languages they know.
