Sounds like it could be interesting tonight. A couple plan to build a "Gothic Mansion" in Monmouthshire. I probably won't get to watch it because of the England Match but may catch it on C4+1 or replay.

Just been browsing the news and see that tomorrow is the day that MP's vote for their own pay rises. Also been musing about the public sector pay wrangles. I think my pay is fairly reasonable in the NHS. Other benefits such as not having to worry about sick pay while I've been off with my leg are certainly worth quite a bit (although you don't get ( Read more... )

Happy New Year everyone! Despite everything we celebrated New Year with the 1/2 bottle of bubbly in our Christmas Hamper watching trashy TV. I think this is the first NYE I've stayed home in aaaages! At least the thieving gits didnt steal any booze!

Headed out of the house for the first time since the operation on my leg just over a week ago. Needed to get some new big baggy trousers that will go over the frame as I could only find one pair at home that fit over it. Think I got rid of all the ones from last time.
