So, last Saturday I took a trip into The City Without A Heart, Toronto, for a Randy Newman concert.

The concert was very good.

Today the whole campus smelled like cow manure. It took me 6 hours of walking around in it (the smell, the manure is yet to be accounted for) to figure out what it was, but now that I have, wow! A nice weekend. Most of the Canadians went to their homes to celebrate their part in the gradual eradication of North America's indigenous peoples and cultures, so the campus has been mostly deserted. I can't put off updating about this any longer. This is completely insane. I don't know how to describe vowel sounds in terms of long/short, but you know how reasonable people pronounce the 'a' in 'pasta' and 'Mazda' like the 'o' in Tom? They don't in Ontario! I am having fun at Guelph. Last night was a pep rally and we all danced and had fun. Being a fun time, it was naturally also a great time. Everything seems so liberal up here, but in an unspoken way. A friend showed me Permanent Monday, which makes fun of Garfield comics. These are pretty good, although the premise seems like it will have to wear thin eventually. Every time the budget vote comes around, I get to thinking. I know it's wrong to judge a person's entire character by one quality, but can anyone disagree that old people in Brookfield who vote down the school budget every year deserve to be miserable incontinent arthritic eyesores?
