I brought Alamet home tonight. She improved somewhat between Monday and Tuesday, but when I went to visit her today she had deteriorated again. She was never going to feel good again. Alamet is very sick right now. I really don't want to talk about it so I've turned off comments. If you see me in the Church, please don't bring it up. I really, really don't want to talk about it. But at the same time I don't want people innocently asking about her because it upsets me. So that's why this post is here. -
lol debate
I took notes during the presidential debate that just completed, and here they are. I started this with the intention of counting how often each candidate evaded the question, but they surprised me by not evading very much at all, so the notes evolved into generalized notes.

The pictures that my dad takes of Alamet generally suck. He doesn't think she is at all cute, and so he takes pictures of her when she's just laying around, thinking that it's all the same.

Vampire Hunter D: Demon Deathchase
I wouldn't have even bothered to do this one except that I had it on hand. This is the book that inspired Bloodlust. Bloodlust is an absolutely gorgeous movie in every sense of the word: the animation is top-notch, the plot is tight, there are equal parts action and characterization, and D is attractive without being ridiculously beautiful ( Read more... )
