If animals were treated humanely during their lives and not full of hormones, chemicals, and pesticides, I'd eat more meat instead of the mostly vegetarian diet I eat now.

I would also rather pay a little more to support a family run farm than Big Agriculture.

I go home every day over lunch to walk my dogs. Pepper, my hound mix, LOVES to chase the little lizards that we have down here in FL. She especially likes to chase them around and around the telephone poles along the sidewalk ( Read more... )

I turn 30 in one week. My 20's have been, um, interesting, to say the least, and I'm glad to be leaving them behind to start the next chapter of my life.

I'm supposed to register for fall semester classes today, but I don't even want to think about school in the summer. Besides, the on-line classes never fill up until the last minute, anyway.

Oh, yeah. I'm going.

The owner of our company is letting us out at 2:00 today to get the weekend started early. Squee!
