My friend/roomate and I want to paint our dormroom this fall. We're going to have a solid base as a light teal color, but I was wondering if any of you had cool ideas about what we could do to make the walls unique. For example, a friend recommended we buy stencils and paint our names in white across one of the walls.

Any ideas? Please help!!!

Hi everyone. I'm just starting to redecorate my room and right now I have all of my major furniture in the center of my room. I'm here to ask for help because i have no idea what wall color to choose, or how to even situate my room.

Here's my question...

My husband and I are moving to a new place and I've figured out themes and colors for all of the rooms except one- the living room. I love the sleek, swanky look of the 20's and 30's and have 3 pieces that will go in the room in question. But, I don't want plain white walls so I need to figure out a wall-color. ( So here's some pics of the pieces )

My fiance are moving into a new apt next month and finally got to see the actual apt we are moving into. I like it with the exception of the bar and bookcase in the living room. Ugh.
