We're becoming official registered domestic partners in the state of Oregon today!! It's kind of like marriage, but not really, so we're not making a huge deal.
We're celebrating by going out to a nice dinner, then getting drunk with some friends later on. So really, only the nice dinner part differs from our usual Friday schedule.

It's not very often that it feels like the universe is working in my favor, but this week has given me some good, solid evidence that I'm doing something right. So I got some awesome news today: my brother and sister-in-law are expecting!!

Balance is nice.
My partner has pneumonia. Not only does she feel like shit, but because she feels like shit everything else is pissing her off, too. Sigh.
