I haven't seen (or really thought about) UnsraW since I last saw them in... what was it? 2008? with deadtree and notafanboy in the horrible soundbox of Holiday Nagoya. Both times I saw them previously they were missing Yuuki due to his weird illness... TB or whatever it was. The UnsraW I saw on Monday evening was a whole different beast, obviously with Yuuki there. Yaaaay, finally revamped art site, took down everything I didn't like about it and added a few new pieces. Rehauled the design, and now it looks MUCH cleaner. I like it simple like this. Now, just watch... I'm probably not going to update for another year. :(

Of course, London is an English-speaking city, so I can't say that there's culture shock of Japan proportions. I can at least mostly read the signs and speak to the natives (one would hope...), so for the most part, I don't feel like the move has really hit me yet. A rundown of things.

Doors opened a bit late, around 7:30pm. The opening act, The Set started playing at 8:10pm and wrapped up before 9pm. They were from Victoria, BC, a very obvious indie rock kind of band, but enthusiastic and well-received. The fans were thankfully very encouraging ( Read more... )
