I had a date yesterday with this guy I know because his ex (I'll call him Tim) is dating my ex (I'll call him Rob). Tim and this guy are currently best friends, Rob and I are currently best friends. I've got this intense fear of compliments. Because I always want to respond to them with a, "You too." I don't like the idea of just taking a compliment, mainly because the "you too" is so expected.
