They were going to send Mo home today because they feel they've done all they can do for him. He doesn't have any more air building up in his lungs, apparently, as far as they can tell, but they got his bloodwork back and his kidneys appear to be having serious trouble now as well, so they're going to try to straighten that out before they return ( Read more... )

Moses is doing better. They don't know what the cause of the problem is, but he seems to be trying to stand and -was- trying to pee. He still won't eat, though, so he's still obviously not doing too great. There is more warmth in his back legs so his circulation has improved. These are good signs and our vet seemed guardedly optimsitic about them. ( Read more... )

With some additional testing, they've reported the following things.

1) He does seem to have some movement in his back legs, but he still can't stand on them.

2) The x-rays revealed some kind of mass in his lungs along with a lot of air that was obscuring it. They wanted permission to do a chest tap and then an ultrasound so they could see what the ( Read more... )
