So I feel sort of weird posting here, because I am not sure my experience is "traumatic". I feel really good about everything that happened, but I am still... upset and mad and hurt.

I'm still processing my traumatic birth experience and my son is almost 21 months old. Now I am struggling with the additional quandry of whether I want another child or not. This may be a moot point since my fertility struggle means my one pregnancy is likely my only pregnancy. Anyway, babies and birth have been on my mind quite a lot recently.

As I've posted before, I have trouble setting foot in our local hospital since our daughter's birth. I avoid the maternity floor like the plague when I do visit. Just a little while ago, my husband told me his friend's wife had gave birth to a little girl and asked if I wanted to go see her. Hi I'm new to this comm, but not to lj.

My son was born on April 30th, 2006. It was a traumatic experience, and I still find myself angry when I think about it.

I wish I had found this community a year and a half ago :)

I don’t really understand what happened when I had my little boy.  No one really explained anything to me whilst it was going on, and to this day, six months on, I haven’t got a clue really why it all went the way it did.

My fiance ordered the book Birth Crisis for me. It was recommended by someone in here as well as a couple of other ladies I've talked with. If you have read this book, how do you feel about it?
