Wheeee
We just bought a used PS2 with Guitar Hero I** + guitar off craigslist ($75, not bad). Then we stopped by Game Stop and got a controller, Castlevania: Lament of Innocence (my pick) and Shadow of the Colossus (David's pick). I am pleased. Now I have more guitar hero songs to play! bright and shiny
This baby sure already has a sense of humor. Most of y'all know that I am NOT a morning person, but s/he keeps waking me up at ridiculously early hours (for me :p).
Also, despite being horribly behind on many things, I feel incredibly accomplished this morning. Yay me. -
random thought/question of the morning
Is the notion of "Bridezilla" just yet another misogynist caricature of women? I mean, we've all known brides-to-be who have been nightmares to their friends and family, but I see this image invoked in the media with a frequency I find a bit . . . inflated. Thoughts? -

David left this morning for a conference; he’ll be gone until late Wednesday night. It’s the first time we’ve been apart since I’ve been pregnant. Of course I’ll miss him in the usual way, but just last night I realized how much more physically dependent I am on him, in these early weeks of pregnancy. I'm curious whether those of you who write/blog regularly and at length (particularly daysprings, capsicumanuum, tvini, and funnel101, but anyone else who has thoughts too) - have any tricks or tips that you use to get/keep yourself in the habit of writing regularly.
