So I've learned to live with the stickyness of mocha sludge on my shoes every day, but I haven't given up hope-- I turned in an application to what you might call the brother company of my former place of work and was enthusiastically received. Today was good. Work was all right because I got to read books about safety, talk to the nice people, and arrange pastries. The new batch of kittens-- pictures coming soon-- were very sweet and the two sickies got a tiny bit better. I started training at my new place of work, which is a big cofee retailer I probably shouldn't be working at but which gives great benefits. Whatever you have to do to live. I can get to my friends page again. It was the router.

I am in San Francisco. I have to go change all my information now, and, y'know, figure out where things are like laundry, and coffee. I am in a nice neighborhood on a deadend, nearly-vertical street. So I still can't get to my friends page, and I think it's me...I'm working my way through the Firefox known issues page. When it lets me. My problem appears to be that I can't get to anything that isn't top-level. livejournal.com is fine, but username.livejournal.com is not. Mozilla.org is okay, but kb.mozilla.org is not.
