I've been having issues getting to bed and having a restful sleep of late, and I'm not entirely certain as to why. I've tried taking a few different things to help me get to sleep, but even though I'm groggy I just can't seem to drift off unless I lay in bed for a while. A BIG thank you to everyone who's been sending good energy our way of late. Seb's pet Crohn's has been acting up of late, causing all sorts of havoc and mayhem. We spent a couple of days in the hospital because of it, but we're back home now. I've been thinking a lot lately about my struggles with depression. I recently looked back a few years in my journal and can see just how much I was struggling, even then. As most of you have probably already seen in vorpal's journal, we carved up some pumpkins yesterday. Not that we had a party or opened our doors to trick-or-treaters, but at least it got some creative energy going. (We didn't make it to any parties since we were both feeling a bit off - blech.)
