Today, not much going on for Halloween. It's the first time in years I've spent it at home. My truck has been puking out oil lately. The first thing I did when I got my tax return today was to take it to the shop and get it checked out. Last weekend Petty Officer (US Coast Guard Reserve)Carter passed away suddenly. He was a full time Chula Vista Motorcycle Officer. He left a wife. He was 32. So, every other weekend is a "duty weekend" What that means is I'm on call for any work to be done. So we have a boarding scheduled at 6pm tonight. Work is also having a barbeque for the reservists who are getting discharged from active duty today at 11. This means I have to do a work function at 11am, then work at 6pm.
