not really. But, he took a couple of steps towards me yesterday, so I imagine more are on their way soon! so adorable. One minute he was clinging to the couch, the next he was on his butt next to me, about a foot away.

That's actually all I have to say at the moment. His tongue seems to be healing well. I should be doing a photo post soon..

I've just put the dude to bed. He's dressed in the most adorable onesie, dark blue with horizontal white stripes. He looks like he's recently escaped from baby prison, convicted of extreme cuteness.

We've got two area rugs now on top of our wall-to-wall carpeting. They look nice, but they keep shifting around, especially the one in the front hall. It's driving me mad. Today I was scheduled to go in for a wisdom tooth extraction under general anesthesia. I prepared. I cooked a batch of split pea soup for my recovery days, and I made some lunch for the dude to have while I would be in the hospital. I fasted as directed. We had our little home birthday party for the dude today. Only a couple of the girls from our other baby group were able to make it (as mentioned before, our prenatal group already had a joint party last weekend) so the majority of people attending were adult friends of ours.
