David Daniels masterclass!
Got back a couple of hours ago from a David Daniels masterclass--he was fantastic, and I love it when a real professional confirms my own ideas about technique! We have three awesome countertenors here right now--two undergrads, and one DMA in my year (and Merola grad!), Vince Yi. -

Came back from Hawaii 8/23 after six weeks in total paradise WITH forkmonkey. For 3 of them, I didn't have TIME to do anything because I was too busy singing. Made some UCLA contacts, met and worked with the fantastic rising star Ricky Ian Gordon, and found out about a good DMA program in an unexpected place.
