So! Since moving to Portland, I've had to be stingy. No job plus strange new city (including all the heinous expenses that come with moving) equals no fun. I've spent this past week unpacking, arranging, shopping for necessities for my lovely little slice of ghetto (they call it a "vintage" apartment for a reason!), building cheap Ikea furniture, attempting to get my bearings, etc... Ech. I feel weird and feverish... yay for disorientation and hallucinations. Seriously, every time I turn around, I think I see my parents' dog, and he doesn't even live here anymore.

The house is too quiet and empty. Where did everybody go?

Based on my various minor brushes with clinical depression in the past, I think I'm almost qualified to admit that I am maybe, probably depressed. I feel exhausted all the time, and yet I have a hard time sleeping. I stay up all night and do absolutely nothing productive (which results in feelings of guilt).
