November 2005?

2 years and 7 months after my last update, and live journal still keeps this stuff. It's a good thing we have an energy crisis and not a bandwidth crisis on our hands.  

I'm so depressed about how music culture and fanship is progressing lately. Maybe it's just a New York City trend, but the new "in" thing to do is fill your cd collection--ipod, sorry-- with shitty "indie" bands that no one has ever heard of. How can people listen to music while they update their livejournals? There is a specific spot on the interface to list whatever music you are supposedly listening to as you type up a storm about your life. So, i played in a charity poker tournament tonight, and i realized that, apparently, most college students have no lives.
