I have decided!!! tonight is going to be the night that I finish toiling. Get a good sleeve for this flippin jacket and begin this project. I am going to go clean my room for an hour and then DEDICATE myself to my machine. and my toile and rockette.

I just read that New Line Cinema is making the book Johnathan Strange and Mr. Norrell into a movie. If you haven't read this book by Susanna Clarke, it is SOOOOOOOOO good. It's about two rival magicians who try to revive magic during the Napoleonic Wars. Think Jane Austen meets Tolkein meets Harry Potter. Anyway, this is good news for us ( Read more... )

ok... feel a little stupid, still puckery, but I pressed my seams open instead of to the sides to see what that would do, and I think it helped... AM NOT GOING TO FREAK OUT ANYMORE... ;)
