I didn't think it would be this hard to find an agent to actually query to. I've been flipping through my Writer's Digest for an hour and a half now, cross referencing possibilities online, and have found no one to send either 1k1in or CM to. I'm starting to feel like I'm wasting my time.

I'm starting to come down with creative ADD...

I can't decide whether I should-

Fine tune and add chapters to Crimson Mask
Work on "Signa's Story" (The first part of the sequel to CM or, if nothing goes according to plan, the prequel)
Edit 1001 Insomniac Nights in preparation for queries, re-posting.

Finally finished the first round of edits for CM. They were the general, all the way through, sweeping edits. I've some more work to do, but those will be more focused, usually small alterations, and possibly some additional scenes.

But either way, I'm comfortable sending what I have to any agent/publisher who wants to see them.

Well, my first query went out today, and as most things go in life, it wasn't quite what I had expected for my first one.

So the synopsis for Crimson Mask is nearing completion, but I'm about two paragraphs over 10 pages. Honestly, I'm scraping the bottom of what can be taken out of the synopsis and have the story still make sense. This is grueling in a way that even the edits haven't been. What can I do without? Is it kosher to include information that must be indirectly gleaned from the novel itself? Or is that cheating?
