I waited the entire day for them to come and pick up a whole bunch of stuff (including furniture) to donate. Working from home is not a privilege that I want to abuse, and so I was reluctant to do that today. I can't believe it's snowing again. The first time this happened in November, I was so excited because it was a totally new experience for me. But I'm over it. My driveway is too steep and icy, and I can't get my car into the garage. :( While I love how pretty the snow looks, the roads are far too icy to really go anywhere or do anything. Tonight's webcam shot from the WSDOT website is even more gruesome than last night's. Thankfully I left early today in anticipation of a terrible evening commute. When I left, it wasn't snowing and the roads were pretty clear. Four hours later, and that is no longer the case. Tonight we're supposed to get heavy rain, hail, and wind. Then the temperatures are supposed to drop and we should have snow and temperatures in the mid 20s to mid 30s tomorrow. On the news the other night, they reported that in the past 3 months Washington has gotten 30" of rain. Typically, Washington gets 37" of rain annually! Crazy.
