My folks contacted me this morning. My sister's boyfriend dumped her and her mother put her in a mental hospital because she threatened to kill herself. I'm not allowed to call her (parents only), but tomorrow night Dad and I are going to trick the operator into putting me through. Why do they advertise places as remodeled, updated, or worst, modernized, like it's a good thing? The atrocities perpetrated upon the Victorian and Edwardian buildings of this city are a shame.
