Tim Harrington (of Les Savy Fav) and his painter-wife Ann have a homewares design company called Deadly Squire. They make oven mitts! Amazing!

Warren and I have tickets to see a double bill of Dido and Aeneas and Acteon in Toronto this weekend. The tickets were my Christmas gift. I’m so excited. I’ve only see one other opera but that was years ago in Los Angeles, and it was a dress rehearsal for Aida. I'm down to my last hour today. The week has dragged its feet. I've been feel unwell the last few days. Many thanks to "The Curse" - that's what the ladies around the office call it.
