My day started off with a nine a.m. phone call from Q.E.D. Systems, one of the prospective employers I've given my resume to. I was pretty sure they'd hire me, but as a fire watch at $14 an hour. As some of you know...I've been having trouble with both of my vehicles. The Subaru seems to have a case of timing belt death, and the truck has a hole in the radiator. I gambled on repairing the Subaru first since by far it's the cheaper vehicle to drive ( Read more... )

As many know (though not every one) I've been laid off for closing in on three weeks now. Terribly inconvenient.
On top of such things...my truck broke down little while ago with a bad radiator hose. No big deal I have the car, and can wait until the  weather better supports the repair endeavor. Right?
