that is an unfortunate side of our times. overexposure causes jaded kids who grow up too fast.
it is possible to create entertaining action without excessive violence. look at the incredibles. NO REALLY LOOK AT THE INCREDIBLES.
then again, i still hold kill bill as one of my favorite movies, but i don't count that so much because the violence heakened more to monty python than anything else.

The Media has stopped reporting good things of any consequence long ago, preferring to wait for things they could easily grasp as "good ( ... )
