Got up at the crack of doom to go out to camp to visit Webelos Woods. Dave did the Chapel Service and he knows that if you have an audience full of Cub Scouts you keep it short...which he did. Sort of a day nothing day. Absolutely nothing planned which is so different. from the norm. Dave fixed the horn on the station wagon. Went to church...came home and I decided to hem some pants. We got a "Community Census Survey' which is ok. We have to fill it in and send it back...its the law. Its not all that bad except its asking for income levels. If you only have one or two people earning an income that's not bad but we have four. Watched the DVD all day and made notes Good thing it was raining hard and there wasn't much else to do. The video modules aren't really all that bad. Usually for these things the 'host' is boring and the actors suck and the production is awful but these aren't bad. The host keeps your attention and the scenes are short and you aren't distracted by ( Read more... )

Went over my AHA material again and am totally confused. With the Pediatric CPR course the student is required to learn how to work an AED . With the regular Heart saver course they give a two minute overview that basically says "This is an AED and this how it works." No need to learn the skills involved.
