Naia-A has changed so much since her 4-month birthday. She's babbling all day and does this pterodactyl screech that occupies her happy little self. She's also sitting up very well but has no attraction to toys - more so cloths with textures and one particular soft cube that jingles. Naia is teething now and the poor child is absolutely inconsolable when it annoys her. I have not seen her wail as so since she was a newborn. The feeling of helplessness as a parent is so difficult to bear. :o( On days like these, it sucks to have to drop her off at daycare and go to work. All I want to do is hold her and comfort her. I was at work on Thursday when Jeff called with news that Reka is already at the hospital and that as of 11 AM, was 6-cm dilated! I was so excited for them but I could tell they were somewhat tired. She was having a bad hair day but she's kinda at the stage where her hair is not long enough to style, but not short enough to keep neat. Regardless, she looks loopy-adorable to me! *

The breastfeeding is going better and better each day. Now I have a 3-day stash in the freezer and Naia takes three 5 oz-bottles to daycare with her so hopefully she's off of formula at daycare unless her appetite increases. Turns out what I needed was to eat more and sleep more in order for my milk supply to improve. Once she started sleeping ( Read more... )
