I've got bad news and good news:
The bad news is that my family's dog Bramble got lost 2 days ago. She was going for a walk in the park with my mother when my mom fell down and accidentally dropped her leash. Bramble is new to the world outside of her tiny little kennel and so she got scared and bolted. Unfortunately, this happened right near one ( Read more... )

1. I went to the new Liquor Store at King and William this morning. It's gigantic! The main lesson I learned from the shopping experience is that the Ontario government really really wants me to drink whiskey. I don't like whiskey, so they're out of luck, but I was impressed by the horribly in your face marketing scheme showing good looking people ( Read more... )

I got a phone call from my mother this morning to tell me that our family cat Mike passed away yesterday. He died of old age and he was relatively comfortable. When dustinw and kabuki_mask and I visited this past weekend, he was terribly skinny, but very friendly and he was constantly purring and rubbing around our legs.
